Team,

Had a unique experience this weekend...Our young son broke the Roku remote...devastated as I was, we hooked up the XBox...and utilized our free month of XBox Live "Gold."

No herein lies the issue...signing up for services that appear great...that appear to work...but simply do not.

Xfinity...the channel my wife watches religiously...will not work on XBox Live "Gold" unless your internet provider is Comcast...

XboxLiveParty BNT

Which leads me into services offered for education. I cannot count the number of times programs claim to magically bridge the gap between information, students, teachers...or "will consolidate" everything you need into one area...only to be convoluted, or not work...and the magic rep who was there promo-ing the new district toy can no longer be reached on his/her email or that "personal" email they gave you at the demo...

As a tech guide and Joomla KungFu artist...I've seen a ton of promises...I've had my issues with Wordpress and Moodle...but Joomla has been the best community, works on everything...and for the most part...I never have down-time with this CMS...

Thought about complaining...but, being a fix-it type...I HDMI'd the laptop to the TV...pulled up Xfinity...and watched my wife's smile as she fired up, "The Young and The Restless..."
